You do not need to provide personal information simply to browse NamesCubed.

NamesCubed Page-View Counter

NamesCubed also uses its own simple page-view counter to understand which pages are being viewed. This system records aggregate counts associated with individual posts or pages and the date on which views occurred.

The page-view counter does not create individual visitor profiles and does not store visitors’ IP addresses, user-agent strings, device identifiers or cookies. A browser’s user-agent string may be checked temporarily to help exclude obvious automated bots from the count, but the user-agent itself is not stored by this system.

Name Finder Search Information

NamesCubed records aggregate information about how the NamesCubed Name Finder is used. This can include search terms entered, filters selected and the number of matching names returned.

This information is used to understand how visitors use the Name Finder, improve its search and filtering features, and identify topics or types of names that visitors may be interested in.

The Name Finder analytics system does not store visitors’ IP addresses, user-agent strings, device identifiers, user accounts or cookies, and it does not create individual visitor profiles. Search information is aggregated by date and search or filter combination rather than being linked to individual visitors.

Aggregate Name Finder search information is retained for up to 180 days.

Contact Form and hCaptcha

Contact Form

NamesCubed uses Fluent Forms to provide its contact form. When you submit the form, the information you enter is processed so that we can receive, review and respond to your message.

Contact-form submissions may be stored within the website’s WordPress database and may also be delivered by email. We retain contact information for as long as reasonably necessary to respond to your inquiry, maintain appropriate records, resolve issues or meet legal obligations.

We do not use the email address you provide through the contact form to add you to a marketing mailing list.

hCaptcha

Forms on NamesCubed may be protected by hCaptcha, a service provided by Intuition Machines, Inc. hCaptcha helps distinguish genuine visitors from automated bots and protects the website against spam and abuse.

To perform this security check, hCaptcha may process information such as your IP address, browser and device information, the date and time of an interaction and information about how you interact with the challenge or page, such as mouse movements, scrolling, touch events or keypress events.
